Presentation of the project at Cinespaña

I am very excited to have been chosen to present my project at Cinespaña Lab, along with three other top-level films. I hope I can live up to them.

We will participate in a mentoring by Yves Nougarède, selector of the Annecy Festival.

I personally think I'm going to learn a lot.

Synposis.

From the beginning of the Spanish Civil War, Madrid is besieged and the bombardments soon become a distressing and deadly routine for the people. And a danger to the artistic heritage. Incendiary shells hit the Prado Museum. They fail to burn, but a decision was taken. The Republic commissioned the young and impetuous Josep Renau, a poster artist and activist, and Timoteo Pérez, a shy painter, to organise the transfer of the works to keep them away from destruction, following the government under attack. In November 1936 begins a dizzying three-year journey through a broken country.
